CCNA experiment ----PAT port multiplexing resolution
Port address translation (PAT)refers to changing the source port of an outgoing packet and performing portswitching, that is, port address translation (PAT,
PortAddressTranslation). Portmultiplexing is used. All hosts on the internal network can share a legitimateexternal IP address to access the Internet, thus maximizing the savings of IPaddress resources. At the same time, all hosts inside the network can behidden, effectively avoiding attacks from the Internet. Therefore, the mostwidely used network in the current network is the port multiplexing mode. TheLP-LINK series of routers in the home can meet the needs of many intranet usersto access the Internet as a typical PAT application.
